Sheikh Hamdan Issues Key Appointments at Dubai’s Community Development Authority

In his role as Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, has made significant new appointments to strengthen the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai.

According to the Dubai Media Office, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan issued Executive Council Decision No. 103 of 2024, naming Huraiz Almur Bin Huraiz as the Chief Executive Officer of the Regulation and Social Services Sector at the CDA. This strategic move aims to enhance the authority’s regulatory and service delivery frameworks.

Building on this momentum, Sheikh Hamdan also announced Executive Council Decision No. 104 of 2024, appointing Saeed Ahmed Thani Al Tayer as the Chief Executive Officer of the Social Development Sector at the CDA. This appointment underscores the authority’s focus on advancing Dubai’s social development initiatives to support the community.

Additionally, Executive Council Decision No. 105 of 2024 was issued to appoint Maitha Mohammed Al Shamsi as the Chief Executive Officer of the Community Empowerment Sector. Her role will be pivotal in fostering engagement and empowerment within Dubai’s diverse communities.

These appointments are part of Dubai’s commitment to ensuring its community services remain world-class and aligned with the city’s forward-thinking vision. The decisions are effective immediately and have been published in the Official Gazette.
