Dubai Land Department and REACH Launch Accelerator to Boost Proptech Innovation

Dubai Land Department Partners with REACH to Launch REACH Middle East, Driving Proptech Innovation

Dubai Land Department (DLD) has teamed up with REACH to introduce REACH Middle East, an initiative designed to attract proptech startups and foster innovation in the real estate sector. This collaboration aims to provide startups with valuable mentorship, investment opportunities, regulatory insights, market exposure, and pilot programs to test and refine their solutions.

A Strategic Initiative to Transform Real Estate Technology

DLD will play a key role in promoting the program, ensuring maximum visibility among investors, stakeholders, and industry leaders. Meanwhile, REACH will take charge of program operations, selecting and supporting promising startups, and expanding its regional footprint with the establishment of a dedicated office in Dubai.

His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of DLD, emphasized the department’s commitment to empowering startups in the real estate technology sector. He stated, “We are dedicated to fostering an environment where proptech startups can thrive. By supporting innovation and sustainability, we further cement Dubai’s global leadership in the real estate industry.”

About the Key Players

REACH is a leading real estate technology accelerator backed by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). The program is designed to help tech companies break into the real estate market, offering mentorship, investment, and global market exposure.

On the other hand, Dubai Land Department (DLD) is the governmental authority overseeing real estate regulation, investment, and innovation in Dubai. Its mission is to create a thriving property market by fostering sustainable development and technological advancements.

Collaboration at the Forefront of Proptech Evolution

As part of this initiative, DLD will actively promote REACH Middle East through its official channels, engage with investors, and provide startups with crucial regulatory guidance and access to real estate market data. Additionally, DLD will facilitate pilot programs, allowing startups to test their innovations in a real-world setting.

Simultaneously, REACH will oversee the program’s execution, handpicking startups, offering mentorship and funding, and providing access to its global network of proptech investors and experts. With the backing of DLD, REACH will also establish its regional headquarters in Dubai, further strengthening the city’s position as a hub for real estate technology and innovation.

This initiative aligns with DLD’s broader vision, including its plans to host PropTech Connect 2026, a high-profile real estate technology conference, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global leader in proptech and real estate development.
