Dubai Land Department Highlights AI-Driven Platform’s Success in Real Estate Advertising Oversight
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has unveiled key statistics demonstrating the effectiveness of its AI-powered Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform, introduced at GITEX 2024.
This smart platform, developed to oversee property listings across major real estate marketing channels such as Property Finder, Dubizzle, and Bayut, has reviewed over 279,000 listings since going live. Of these, AI technology has automatically modified 29% of the advertisements under review.
Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Control Department at the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Dubai Land Department, noted, “These results reflect our continuous efforts to enhance market regulation through advanced technologies. The Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform allows for more accurate and efficient ad monitoring, which builds greater confidence among investors and customers, while further cementing Dubai’s reputation as a global innovator in real estate.”
The announcement comes in alignment with Dubai AI Week, held from April 21 to 25.
According to the DLD, this monitoring initiative is part of a broader strategy to boost transparency and trust within the real estate market.
Previously, the department launched ‘Madmoun’—a digital feature in the Trakheesi system that generates QR codes for every approved real estate advertisement permit.
Under new regulations, property firms must now include these QR codes in all visual and written advertisements, enabling users to instantly verify listing authenticity and confirm approval by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency.
This initiative plays a pivotal role in Dubai’s long-term vision to lead in digital transformation and enhance its position as an economic and technological powerhouse in the global arena.
