For property owners in Dubai’s competitive rental market, professional management appears to be increasingly vital
Dubai Renters Show Strong Preference for Professionally Managed Properties
A recent white paper by Betterhomes titled The Value of Professional Property Management: Tenant Insights & Market Trends highlights a growing trend among tenants in Dubai, who are increasingly leaning towards professionally managed properties.
According to an in-depth tenant survey, 75% of respondents confirmed they currently live in homes managed by professional property managers.

Key reasons cited by tenants include quicker maintenance response times, better communication, and an overall more satisfying living experience.
“These findings align with what we’re observing in the market. Today’s tenants expect more than just rent collection – they want a premium living experience,” said Niral Jhaveri, Director of Property Management at Betterhomes.
The report showed that 83% of tenants anticipate their maintenance requests to be addressed within 24 hours, and 54% have turned down rental options lacking professional management.
Out of those who’ve lived in both managed and unmanaged residences, 72% shared that their overall experience improved significantly with professional management.
Betterhomes noted that its managed property portfolio boasts a 96% occupancy rate, a sign of the rising demand for well-managed homes.
Additionally, 69% of tenants revealed they had considered moving out due to poor maintenance services.
Regarding rental value, 42% of those surveyed said they would pay more for properties offering 24/7 professional support, and another 32% said they might be open to the idea.
As Dubai’s rental landscape grows more competitive, professional property management is becoming a crucial element for landlords looking to attract high-quality tenants, retain occupancy, and boost long-term investment returns.
