Currently, Jafza hosts 10,890 companies from 150 countries, supporting over 160,000 jobs and contributing AED620 billion in annual trade

Jafza has unveiled a major expansion of its Logistics Park, investing AED 90 million to introduce an additional 360,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities, catering to the increasing demand in the logistics industry.

This second phase of development increases the total area of the park to over 922,000 square feet, equipping businesses across various sectors with cutting-edge infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.

“The expansion of Jafza Logistics Park underscores our dedication to strengthening global competitiveness while attracting foreign investment into Dubai. The rapid leasing of Phase 1, even before its completion, emphasized the strong market demand for high-quality logistics and warehousing solutions. With Phase 2, we are further advancing this vision by offering flexible, top-tier solutions that support the growth of multiple industries. This brings the total footprint of Jafza Logistics Park to over 922,000 square feet as we continue to enhance our world-class infrastructure,” stated Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer, Parks & Zones, DP World GCC.

The latest facilities feature modern office spaces, adaptable units, temperature-controlled storage, and advanced loading docks with increased power capacity, ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Providing an extensive range of services, the park facilitates contract logistics, freight forwarding, and freight management for industries such as technology, automotive, fashion, and food. This expansion aligns with the projected growth of the Middle East and Africa’s freight and logistics sector, which is expected to reach $235.8 billion by 2031, addressing vital market requirements.

Jafza has committed AED 90 million to Phase 2 of its cutting-edge Logistics Park, reinforcing its position as a premier logistics hub. The addition of 360,000 square feet of Grade-A facilities further meets the rising demand for premium warehousing and logistics solutions.

Situated near Jebel Ali Port, the park maximizes connectivity, offering businesses strategic market access and value-added services such as packaging, labeling, quality assurance, and real-time inventory monitoring.

Sustainability remains at the forefront of the development, incorporating precast concrete and off-site construction methods to reduce environmental impact. The design integrates skylights to optimize natural lighting and lower energy consumption.

Phase 1 of the project, completed in November 2023, covered 562,507 square feet and was fully occupied prior to completion, highlighting the robust market appetite for premium logistics infrastructure.

Currently, Jafza is home to 10,890 companies from 150 countries, supporting over 160,000 jobs and facilitating AED 620 billion in annual trade.

This expansion aligns with the UAE’s strategic vision to expand its logistics sector to AED 200 billion annually within the next seven years, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global trade and logistics powerhouse.
