Steady Progress on AED 1.4 Billion Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum Housing Project in Dubai

Dubai’s Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum Housing Project, valued at AED 1.4 billion ($381 million), is progressing at a steady pace. This large-scale development features 672 villas, complemented by essential amenities such as endowment markets, a mosque, a public park, and various service facilities designed to cater to the needs of Emirati families.

The project is being implemented in four phases:

  • Phase One includes 124 homes and is expected to be completed in 2026.
  • Phase Two comprises 208 homes, scheduled for completion in 2027.
  • Phase Three will introduce 199 homes, set for 2029.
  • The final phase will deliver 141 homes, with completion expected by 2032.

This residential development aligns with Dubai Social Agenda 33, which envisions the emirate as a leading city for housing services and quality living. As part of the government’s housing initiative, the project also supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, focusing on sustainability, enhanced living conditions, family well-being, and community stability.

During a recent visit to the project site, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, highlighted the emirate’s continuous efforts to improve infrastructure in emerging residential areas.

Situated in Wadi Al Amardi, Dubai, the housing project is dedicated to the memory of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The community will offer green spaces, well-planned internal road access, and essential facilities, including:

  • A mosque named in honor of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
  • Endowment markets promoting economic sustainability
  • A public park with recreational spaces for families and children
  • Modern villas designed for optimal use of internal and external spaces, ensuring a comfortable living environment for Emirati families

“Our goal is to provide every citizen with a fully integrated living environment that fosters stability and well-being while maintaining the highest standards of quality,” said Sheikh Mohammed.

This initiative aims to enhance family cohesion, strengthen community values, improve overall quality of life, and create a supportive social environment that balances work and personal life.
